Hey guys!!! I'm really interested in knowing what other Japanese brands you guys like?

Oh, but most importantly, please share with us why you like the brand or model, and your experiences wearing/tearing/fading them

there are too much, but i really love samurais, always fade nice. i currently wear a pair of s710xx(5 months in) and am totally amazed.

Heard from someone that Samurai jeans fade unusually quickly. Never had a pair myself - been thinking over the past couple of days of getting the S710BK...

I know some SugarCanes fade quicker because of the sugar cane fibres woven in makes the mixed pure indigo come off easier (I remember my first pair of SCs, the Okinawas, the hem started fading after a week =D). Don't know about Samurai's. Maybe because of the high denim weight?

Well, other than SugarCane, my favourite Japanese jeans maker has to been Studio D'Artisan

They make them so well - the attention to detail appealed to me. And the pigs, got to love the pigs =P

yeah, the blacks are really nice. and it seems they also fade well for black jeans.

=) just bought a pair from Shop 2nd!

My concern with samurai's higher weight denims has always been the possibility of the shorter cotton threads making the denim prone to breaking and loose colour. I guess I'll find out if this is true...

Anybody have any experience with Buzz Rickson sweatshirts? They look great, but I've never seen one close up.

so far only flat head and sugar canes.

i think the next brand i want to try is oni though. they said they were quite slubby,but how slubby are they compared to the okis?

I would have to say Samurai, KMW (got my dad a pair), Oni, and flat head...
