This is a SC forum so the obvious answer would be SugarCane, but i have no experience with their denims yet, so for now it would be Denime, Samurai, The FlatHead and the Real McCoy.

correct me if i'm wrong. sugarcane jeans use japanese selvedge denim. but that doesnt mean that they are a japanese brand right? i always thought sc jeans came from the u.s. or some western country.

I didnt find any info about RMC jeans. Thats my top favorite. Check it out. Rmc Jeans by Martin Ksohoh

They are Japanese though, from the Toyo Enterprise Company.

Studio D'Artisan are worth a mention. I have the 103's waiting in the wardrobe but also rate samurai USA model (my currrent daily wear) which are fading very nicely.

I totally love Japanese fashion, I think I would go mad shopping if I ever went over there. Their style is so cool! sigh.

I wish all the Japanese brands would make larger sizes for the Western markets.

I'm probably going to order some Studio D'Artisan jeans soon. Style wise I love the Canes tho - they seem to stand out and are that little bit different from countless others.

SC is indeed Japanese, but have some jeans made in US as well.
